As part of our UNDER_GROUND project, we have teamed up with Mr K to produce spoken word videos around 6 of the biggest topics taught in Religious Education. Mr K is an inspiring and engaging Spoken Word Artist and Headteacher of an Alternative Provision School.
In this video, Mr K explains that while in English there is only one word for love, in Greek there are many words:
- Philia – friendships
- Storgi – family
- Eros – romantic
- Agape – unconditional love
Discussion questions:
- How is agape love different to the other types of love mentioned?
- What does this tell Christians about the character of God?
- How might this impact how Christians treat other people?
